ABOUT ABOUT

The return of our annual muraLAB: Live event features an exciting evening of talks, presentations, and conversations with artists and cultural thinkers from Philly and beyond, around the theme of open source. This year’s lineup includes Open Source artist Michelle Angela Ortiz, artist and activist Tatyana Fazlalizadeh, Ricardo Rivera of Klip Collective, Philly Poet Laureate Frank Sherlock, and many more. It all unfolds at FringeArts—head to the venue early for after-work drinks at La Peg!

This event is part of Mural Arts’ citywide exhibition Open Source: Engaging Audiences in Public Space – taking place in October. Open Source is a groundbreaking outdoor exhibition of temporary, site-specific artworks that explore and illuminate Philadelphia’s diverse urban identity, curated by Pedro Alonzo.
