ABOUT ABOUT

Join us at Bok, a former South Philly vocational high school evolving into an innovative makerspace, for an opening party that screams “art prom.” Meet Open Source artists, dance with old and new friends, enjoy stunning rooftop views, and raise a glass to the city’s biggest cultural event of the year. Look for an open “pour” session with the Dufala Brothers, who will be working out of Bok all month long, and catch a packed lineup of electro pop, house live and DJ sets with internationally renown headliner, Washed Out (DJ Set). It’ll be an evening you won’t soon forget.

Enjoy your first beer on us, courtesy of Sly Fox Brewing Co. We'll also have food for sale, and beer and wine bars.

This event is part of Mural Arts’ citywide exhibition Open Source: Engaging Audiences in Public Space – taking place in October. Open Source is a groundbreaking outdoor exhibition of temporary, site-specific artworks that explore and illuminate Philadelphia’s diverse urban identity, curated by Pedro Alonzo.

VIP Reception: 5–7 p.m.
