In 2016, Mural Arts Philadelphia and Callowhill's Arts + Crafts Holdings created the Spring Arts District, a rotating outdoor gallery. In summer 2017, a new group of artists, curated by Ryan Strand-Greenberg, have created temporary works in the District: Glossblack, Lauren West, Susan Nam, Whitney Alexander, and Shawn Theodore.
Join us on Friday, October 13, from 5–8 p.m. as we celebrate these new additions to this post-industrial corner of the city, with a reception at 990 Spring Garden, followed by a tour of the murals led by project curator Ryan Strand-Greenberg.
